Enhancing productivity is mandatory to achieve any goal. By following certain rules one can increase their productivity in daily life. Motivation is just an emotion. It doesn’t work all the time. However, creating a long-term habit can contribute to leading a productive life. Here’s how one can increase their productivity in daily life:

By maintaining 7-9 hours sleep schedule:

Sleeping is mandatory for the human body to maintain physical and mental well-being and learning. Proper sleep helps to keep our body and mind sound. Much research has shown that sleep creates space for new things to learn and builds connections between things one has learned nothing can be compared with sleep. It has been proven that sleep transfers information from short-term to long-term memory. But sleeping 7-9 hours regularly at the right time is urgent for people of any age.

Having a consistent sleep schedule:

Sleeping has a positive impact on happiness. We slept at a fixed time, especially at night, impacting our long-term happiness and productivity. Define people who have different natural sleep patterns. Try to maintain at least a two-month fixed time, and sleep schedule and see the difference. And last but not least every day at an exact or a fixed time is also mandatory.

Maintaining a To-do list:

Our brain is not good at thinking or storing information. Maintaining a to-do list and doing the most important tasks is mandatory to increase productivity. If one continuously thinks about what to do it decreases the capacity of our brain to do things. So maintain a note or Digital to-do list before every day you sleep and we prepare for the next day. When marking the list to be done, it gives visual gratification.

Daily highlighting task or task prioritization:

Complete the most important task from the to-do list, which will impact your life positively in the long term. Much evidence has been shown that it has an important impact on the activities of daily life and enhances productivity.

Creating blocks for study time:

Time blocking is a time management method that asks you to divide your day into blocks of time. Each block is dedicated to accomplishing a specific task or group of tasks. It removes procrastination. One can use Google Calendar for time blocking.

Protect non study time :

Fix a time for relaxation leisure time, entertainment time, or physical exercise.  Maintain your commitment to entertainment and physical activity. Balance priorities for study and nonstudy time and don’t compromise it.

Exercise 30 minutes every every day:

If you are not able to exercise daily, at least exercise 1 hour, 3 or 4 days a week. It will balance your average time of exercise. Long-term exercise habits will increase daily energy, and enhance your focus capability which will help you to continue your study and other concentration-based work. Much research has shown that exercise has a tremendous effect on long-term happiness, energy, and productivity events to amplify the focus of the study.

Reading a non-academic book for 30 minutes on average every day:

One can benefit from these by learning new things and broadening their knowledge. It can create a positive impact on anyone’s life in decision-making, thinking, and many more prospects. Stress in academic books leads us to be not interested in books but if anyone studies or reads any nonacademic interesting book it will increase their progress in life which will make people interested in books and boost their productivity in life. It also helps you to build your focus capability and concentration.

Write a gratitude journal:

Write at least three things that you are grateful for daily. It positively impacts your self-esteem and happiness in the long term by enhancing your positive emotions.

Tracking your habit or progress:

Try to track your progress if you can maintain the habit you are trying to maintain, your mistakes, and what you have to learn. It’s a very useful technique to learn new things. Check your habits after a week or a month and learn from your mistakes.

These habits will help to enhance productivity in the long term by practicing every day. Be realistic, flexible, and consistent when forming habits in life. Creating and implementing daily habits to increase productivity takes time, effort, and persistence. Following these one can enhance their productivity and achieve their ultimate aim.
