These days, practically everyone is interested in the term “Artificial Intelligence” (AI). AI is becoming more prominent in 2024 as we are seeing quite a lot of sectors using it for various purposes. From news presenters  to industry robots, AI is marking its presences. It seems that AI is affecting almost every sector and has come to an alternative solution to human employment.

Employment requiring complex problem-solving, emotional intelligence, human interaction and creative thinking are seen to be less amenable to complete automation. These are highly skilled jobs that demand a level of flexibility, critical thinking and knowledge that AI systems are now unable to match.

The jobs most protected against automation and artificial intelligence are those that need human abilities that a robot cannot match, like interpersonal relationships, emotional intelligence and social skills. There will be less chance of AI replacing jobs in fields that value creativity and don’t follow strict routines. Because medical conditions might be unpredictable and their nature is complicated and flexible, professions in this industry are typically judged to have a low risk of automation. The following industries often employ people who are least likely to be impacted by automation:

Health Care:

Health care is a sector which needs extensive care for patients. Care can only be given by humans, not robots. A patient needs physical and mental support. AI cannot provide these services.  Extensive AI advancement may improve physical needs of the patients but the mental attachment cannot be achieved through AI. Although AI is helping doctors to identify disease and helping to find out easier ways of doing complex surgeries, human help is still necessary to carry out medical services. So, it can be said that health care services cannot be occupied by AI.

Creative:

Creative means having or showing an ability to make new things or think of new ideas. Although computers can perform many difficult tasks. Its IQ is still 0. That means it cannot perform any task without the command of humans. Creative works such as singing, dancing, painting and making anything from scratch are impossible for AI. In some creative sectors, AI is penetrating faster than ever. For example, AI can make songs, pictures and can copy famous singers and produce the exact voice of them. It is alarming for creative works.

Personal Services:

The act of physically delivering documents to the designated subject is known as personal service. AI has nothing to do with personal services. Personal service is work done by person to person. Personal service includes: Hairdressers, Cosmetologists, Personal trainers, Coaches, Dry cleaning and laundry etc.

Choreographers:

Choreographers means creating dances, steps and movements for performers  for dancers and other artists, usually to music. Choreographer has nothing to do with AI. Because a man fixes the dance rhythm or gesture through his thoughts.

Teaching:

Teaching is the act of paying attention to people’s needs, feelings and experiences and stepping in to help them learn specific skills and go beyond the obvious. Teaching is a job which requires high knowledge and instant capability to answer questions promptly. AI in education needs massive development. Because in today’s era to keep pace with the new method of education, there is a need for AI interactive sessions. Not possible in our country. AI will never be able to take over the role of teachers in education.

In short, it can be said that the influence of AI in today’s world is so much that people cannot think without technology. AI has taken humans into its grip. But the above professions are immune to the risk of being usurped by AI. People who join this profession do not have to depend on AI.
