Sometimes we feel lost.
We can’t continue our studies. We feel like we are good for nothing; we don’t have any learning opportunities. At that time, a teacher can show us the road. They could bring us from the wrong path to the right path.
A good teacher’s influence could change a student.
Many students lack support at home. A mindful teacher can become a student’s supporter. She motivates her students to keep going forward. This sense of security helps students to aim higher.
A good teacher not only teaches about academic studies.
She teaches her students punctuality, honesty, manners, obedience, and other good qualities.
Teachers introduce students to ideas, information, future careers, opportunities, etc.
A teacher with many abilities influences her students to become like her, too.
For example, a private teacher who is studying medicine influences her students to become doctors. Like that, engineers and professional teachers encourage their field. Students could be influenced by them.
Students may absorb their habits, abilities, traits, and learning methods. Teachers could create passion among them.
A teacher could change the mindset and perspectives of a student.
Teachers do not judge their students. Rather, they try to turn a student’s wrong perspectives into the right ones.
A good teacher brings out the hidden talents of a student.
Everyone is created with their own charm and potential. Different people have different talents, creativity, and abilities.
A person may seem good for nothing in a field. But he might have many other talents that he doesn’t know about.
They may never have the opportunity to explore themselves!
At this time, a teacher could explore their students’ abilities, creativity, and hidden talents.
A teacher observes her student silently and brings out the capabilities that the student doesn’t know about.
For example, a student might be bad at public speaking, communication, and expressing themselves.
But on the other hand, he might be very creative and could do many things that require talent.
In this case, a teacher’s positive statement and encouragement could take him far.
If the teacher says,
“You are good for it. You can surely do it.”
These positive statements could wash away the lack of confidence.
He may start believing in himself. And keep focusing on it.
Thus, he could be successful where he is best at!
Good teachers create love for learning.
A good teacher not only teaches academic lessons, they make the learning interesting, meaningful, and joyous.
They teach on a topic that arouses curiosity among students.
This curiosity influences students to explore more on their own.
A student understands how academic lessons are related to their life.
Good teachers always try to improve the students day by day.
They believe in gradually developing.
They don’t make students feel useless—rather, they answer questions of their students and encourage them.
They also hear the opinions of their students and try to involve students in decision-making.
This creates a positive learning environment.
Those are truly lucky who had such teachers in their lives.
Without them, they might have remained in the dark all their lives.
But they can know themselves and change their life by the influence of these persons, who are really more than a teacher.
