Nowadays, the world is full of misinformation. This misinformation is provided in a huge amount by social media. In this case, library provides people the real and authentic news. Basically, libraries are the beacon of truth in todays over-saturated society.

We know that libraries are the most visible and academic places of literacy. But also, public libraries plays a vital role on ensuring lifelong learning. They focus on the community what they need, offering knowledges on literacy purposes, like; classes, job assistance and cultural events.
On the other hand, academic libraries supports higher educational institutions by providing both faculties and students access to specialized research materials and study spaces.
Specialised library means the ones in which the profession or jobs are needed. Like law firms or hospitals. In this way, they help the professionals to gain knowledge and help them on skill development if necessary.
Challenges faced by libraries in the digital world
While libraries have adapted to various changes for centuries, they still face challenges. Funding cuts are a major reason. Specially for public libraries which majorly relys on government support.
Well, there is another challenge, which is known as digital divide. This persists despite the availability of digital resources. Many individuals who live in low-income areas or rural parts lack access to reliable internet or devices to access the digital library.
Future Plan for Libraries :
Libraries are trying their best by giving away free wifi, lending devices and providing digital literacy training. But more help is needed to fill in the gap.
