“Carbon,” a Devil Camouflaged as an Angel. The more the world is rushing on the track of becoming more developed, the less it is becoming aware of future catastrophes. The blind race towards industrialization has made the environment of our home more toxic.
The availability and easily resourced form of “carbon” to produce energy is a more viable, cheaper, and profitable option for the industrialists. But at what cost?
The earth that used to look green and blue is turning more grey and dull. Accountability is not a question now. Alternatives are the answers that need to be initiated.
Thanks to our Mother Earth and our shelter, the solar system provides the answers. Nature itself has presented us with the gifts to save it from us. Sunlight, water, and wind—we present the uncapped heroes of alliance “sustainability.”
The Shift We Need
If this Earth wants to sustain itself, the residents need to shift their thoughts. It will save millions of lives whose price is immeasurable. So it is a win-win situation, even if we consider profitability as our main mission.
But what will be served through this vision? We’ll have a greener world, maybe thousands more years delaying the ultimate catastrophic climate condition of the environment. The advantages are countless.
On the contrary, the disadvantages are an increase in the cost of goods for the products, resulting in a slight decrease in both gross margin and EBITDA. They seem less in both scale and impact.
A Blueprint for Change
Therefore, it’s a valid reason to establish a sustainable energy category to cut unwanted emissions. It follows as:
- Adopting new power plant technology to reduce dependence on coal-generated production houses
- Encouraging home solar systems
- Installing solar-powered grids and windmill-powered grids according to geographical advantages
- Developing more water plants to map the water flow
It’s a clear statement that the sudden all-out shift towards renewable options is impossible for several reasons. The demand for the total amount of energy that this Earth needs daily is hard to meet by sustainable power sources.
However, this scenario is only true at the beginning of the journey. With proper structure and execution, this need can be gradually met.
The Role of People
Nowadays, people are becoming more conscious about the environment, which is a good sign. The education and teachings are spreading, and the community in favor of sustainable energy is growing.
What we need now is a personal push. From our own perspective, we could emphasize the use of alternative energy wherever we can.
We can use solar panels to at least channel energy to three or four devices.
Biogas is a really good choice for countries like ours, where agriculture is the first source of GDP.
Furthermore, there is the arrival of a new hero in this field, which is piezoelectricity, which can generate energy through movement.
Imagine installing all roads with this setup; even a simple walk can contribute to lighting a bulb in someone’s house.
In a Nutshell
The options are countless and versatile. What is needed is a gentle concentration from masses of people, concentration on alternatives, and more sustainable sources of energy.
Only together can the Earth remain green and sustain itself. Let’s shape this earth together.
If not us, then who will serve for the fate of the earth?
