In our country, once upon a time, petrol cars were highly prevalent. Even though petrol cars are in use in our country, among people for the last 6-7 years there has been a trend of using electric cars and the number of electric cars is increasing rapidly due to its utmost benefits. More people are in favor of using electric cars, especially rich people who own private cars in our country.

But the public transport in our country and lorry trucks and big buses are still under the very use of petrol.

Electric Cars

Electric cars are those cars that go on use by charging from an electricity source either renewable or non-renewable and are not subject to emissions

Petrol Cars

Petrol cars are run by diesel or fuel derived from fuel stations and are subject to emissions. A  comparative discussion can be run between electric cars and petrol cars on a variety of topics which are done below.

Energy Efficiency

According to the energy efficiency and energy potential, electric cars show more efficient engine work than petrol cars. The reason behind the higher energy efficiency of electric cars is that the energy they use, they are capable of using maximum energy resulting in less energy wastage in comparison to petrol cars. Contrary, petrol cars work on diesel and it works by burning the fuel and using less energy for energy efficiency while maximum energy gets wasted. So, people who buy private cars will surely prefer electric cars over petrol cars as any person will always prefer energy-efficient, safe and comfortable and economic journeconomicaltance ranging

Petrol cars show longer distance ranges. That is why, in comparison to private car users, usually for longer distances, big buses and lorry trucks which are petrol based are run by petrol. Big buses and lorry trucks need to go large miles and miles almost every day for public food and other goods.

Generally, since most private car users who refer to electric cars usually roam around the city and their working or traveling distances are within 15-30 km they are very suitable for use in this short-ranged area. So From both perspectives electric cars are advantageous but they lack long-distance travel while petrol cars win in this contrast situation.

Established fueling stations

Petrol cars have been around for 100 years, they have a well-established fueling infrastructure. Petrol stations are set up in almost all corners of the city as well as the whole country so petrol cars have much accessibility to the fuel stations.

But in this situation, electric cars face a significant problem as electric cars were introduced only a decade ago. So, charging stations all over are not that much, even in longer ranging distances there are almost no charging stations. Most charging stations are inside the main city or town. But the good news is that electric cars are mostly private cars and people drive private cars mostly within the city skirt, so they avail this advantage and face no significant problems

Fuel costing

In terms of fuel cost, it is said that electric car fuel use is more economical than petrol car fuel. Petrol cars run on gasoline or octane. In the current world, gasoline and octane have significant price ups and in the coming days, the fuel cost will increase more as the gasoline or octane will become rare day by day.

But the electricity cost is lower than gasoline or octane cars and so the fuel cost of electric cars is more economical than petrol cars.

Environmental friendly

It is to say that electric cars are more environmentally friendly than petrol cars as electric cars run on electricity and as no burning or emission procedures are not inherited in the electric cars it does not contribute to the pollution of the environment.

On the other hand, petrol cars rely on traditional fuel emissions and emissions of carbons and other harmful gasses pollute the environment to a greater extent, petrol cars are non-environment friendly.

All to say that electric car and petrol car comparison has been drawn up. On the prospective use, electric cars are more prevalent and mostly for rich people who prefer to travel shorter distances within the city. But from a public point of view, it can be a holocaust that as petrol transports go long distances, the big tourist buses and goods lorry and trucks are mostly petrol transports. Besides, public transport is an economical convenience for the general public. In perspective usage, it mostly depends actually.
