What is geography?
Geography is everything & everything is geography.
Geography is the subject of science. Many scholars defined it as a science as a social science or an environmental science. Actually, in modern times, it is a subject of science. Geography majors learn about the physical features of the including climate, soil, water, weather, and topography-and how people relate it to the land. Learners study both physical and social science. Here is some scholar’s theory about geography-
1: Geography can be regarded as a science, concerned with the rational development and testing, of theories that explain and predict the spatial distribution and location of various characteristics on the surface of the earth(Yates, 1968).
2: Geography is concerned with providing accurate, orderly, and rational descriptions and interpretations of the variable character of the earth’s surface( Hartshorne, 1969).
So we can say that geography means the discussion about the whole earth. oceans and space etc.
