Studying abroad seems like a big dream. A new country will teach you new things. If you’re planning to go overseas after completing HSC, Here are the key steps you need to follow.

 

  • Stable Internet: The first and foremost thing you need to do is have a stable internet. The next important thing is having a computer. Then check the official website of the country you want to go to for studying. 


  • Do Your Research: If you’re ready to take action about higher study, then do your research. Which country do you want to select, what is the weather or the environment, language barrier and what are the opportunities you will get for studying there?


  • Country Selection: The most important thing is the selection of the country. You will need to select which country you want to go for higher study. It can be India, the UK, the USA, South Korea, Japan, Finland, and more.


  • University Selection: You have to select your own desired universities. There are many ranking universities all over the world.


  • Subject Selection: This is the most important part of subject selection. The desired subject you want to study, you need to find that.


  • Get Scholarship: A scholarship is a specific scholarship for those who wish to study in different countries, it is a type of financial support.

      There are two types-

  • Full Scholarship 
  • Partial Scholarship 

 

  • Language skills: It depends on the country you want to study. There is IELTS, TOEFL, and sometimes SAT, GRE, and GMAT. But you don’t need all of that skill, only IELTS also works in most countries. 


  • CGPA: To be at the top of the application process, you need to have an excellent previous result.


  • ECA: ECA means Extracurricular Activity which can be writing, cooking, photography, debate, dancing, singing, volunteering, sports, drawing, and many more. This will help you a lot in your application process.


  • SOP: A good statement of purpose will give you the most benefit of getting selected. 


  • Recommendation Letter: A recommendation letter is very important, this is a must process in higher study. So be careful of this letter.


  • Experience: If you have any part-time job experience or volunteer experience, that will be a great help for the process.


  • Academic Transcript & Certificate: You’ll need all of your previous academic transcript & certificate prepared. If the academic transcript & certificate are in Bangla, you’ll need them in English. 


  • Study Gap: If you’re late to start your preparation for studying abroad, you need to tell how you spend that gap. If you were continuing your honors or you were working, that sounds good.

 

  • Credit Transfer: If you’re studying in university and want to go to another country for higher study then you will need to do a credit transfer.


  • Police Clearance Letter: It’s for how you spend your lifestyle, or if you did any crime, that’s why they need a police clearance letter.


  • Attestation of Certificate: Attested copies of the original certificate have to be submitted along with the application to universities.


  • Medical Certificate: If you’re physically fit or not, that’s why they need a medical certificate. 


  • Passport: Passport is very important for the process of higher study. Sometimes you’ll need a passport to apply for higher study. Be careful about checking your name, passport time limits are okay.


  • Visa: For a visa, you’ll need all of your documents prepared.


  • Networking: Which country do you want to study, get into networking with that country’s university students. This will be a great help to know more details.
