Often we face situations like, “I can’t make time for things I want to do!” but on the other hand sometimes we feel like “I have nothing to do, I am getting so bored!”

Well, that’s very common!

As we cannot specifically find time for productive things, we should try to make our leisure time productive.

Here are some ways to do this –

Listen To Podcasts Or Audiobooks

When you’re just sitting and chilling you can hop onto listening to podcasts or audiobooks. Also when you’re doing low brain effort work like cleaning the house ,walking in the park or stuck in a traffic jam, you can play these contents and listen to it.

You can use your time productively by doing this!

Podcasts and audiobooks can be a huge source of knowledge. You can start listening these in your free time.

Do Some Workout

You can do some basic workouts in your leisure time.

We all know that regular exercise is very important for our mental and physical health. But we often become too lazy or lethargic to do any workout.

So, when you get some leisure time, you can use it for the benefit of your health.

Do Skincare

Daily and regular skincare is very important. But there are also some types of skin care that you can do once in a while.

So when you get some leisure time, try your weekly or monthly skincare routine.

You can arrange a pampering session for yourself where you take care of your skin overall.

Try To Learn Some Skills

When you get some leisure time, you can try to build up your skill set. Nowadays YouTube is the best teacher. You can find tutorials on anything and everything!

So whichever skill interests you, just search it up and learn something about it.

Start small, start easy and work your way up.

Nurture Your Speaking Skill

You can use your time to enhance your speaking skill. You can look for a paragraph or make one of your own and then read it to practice speaking.

You can focus on your tone, sound, emotion etc.

Record your voice multiple times. Each time you may find some mistakes and try to improve them for the betterment of yourself.

Regularly doing this process will result in great speaking skill.

Journal

Write down your thoughts and feelings on paper.

When you start journaling, you get clarity in your thoughts, which is very important. You get to know about yourself better and you get more self aware.

Hence you improve your decision making and overall develop yourself.

Get In Touch With Your Creative Side

Do some creative work that you love. Let it be arts and crafts, painting, sketching, poem writing, story writing etc – anything you love. Get your heart engaged with your mind.

Go For A Walk

You can simply go for a walk in the park and enjoy the calming beauty of the mother nature. This will calm your mind, freshen up your thinking and make you feel a lot better.
