Sustainability and green jobs are important phenomena in today’s world. Normally, sustainability refers to the long-term availability of a thing smoothly. Again, green jobs are environment friendly jobs that do no harm to the environment. It’s time to think about a career depending on green.
Day by day the world is being modernized more and more very rapidly. After the first, second and third industrial revolution, the world is going to encounter a fourth industrial revolution very soon. With the passage of these industrial revolutions, the world has changed a lot. Life became easier for people than before. Life is going to be much easier in the near future. But it is a matter of great sorrow that, with the developments and industrial revolutions, people used nature, even in ancient times, people were dependent on nature also but digitalization and modern society has reduced the nature dependency through artificial backups. While all these things happened, nobody cared about nature and environment. As a result, the environment started to face the impact of industrial revolution and modernization of the world. Air pollution, water pollution, sound pollution etc. types of pollution were introduced to the world. As a result, weather became unpredictable, polar ice started melting very fast. As a result, world average heat increased a lot. Astonishingly though polar ice is critical for global climate stability, almost 28 trillion tons of polar ice melted in less than 30 years.
However, it’s late but there is a saying that “ Half a loaf is better than nothing ”. World leaders are gradually being united to save nature. The UN has launched 17 Sustainable Development Goals aka SDG. All these goals will help to make a lively world for all. Industries are trying to maintain, ensure and promote SDG in the fourth Industrial revolution. World’s prominent personalities are also coming forward in this regard. They are campaigning, donating and sponsoring those who are with the green. As the fourth revolution is in collaboration with SDG, entrepreneurs and future leaders are being encouraged and conscious about staying with SDG by world celebrities. As entrepreneurs are coming to the industry keeping in mind about SDG, the future will be environment friendly. Everyone will focus on green jobs. New window will open in the job sectors. Jobs related to renewable energy, environment related analysts etc. are one of the emerging green jobs. When someone chooses to engage himself in green jobs, it will help him to get the opportunity to contribute to nature. As time will pass, sustainability will also increase in those sectors. Sustainable green jobs will pave the way to establish a green economy, which is one of the main establishing goals of SDG. Green economy will lead to new industries to open. Again, new generations are also nature concerned. NGOs related to the environment concerned will also emerge.
However, to ensure human comfort, doing harm to the environment is never an encouraging activity or job. Rather stay with nature ,help to grow and shine like a Diamond.
