Some famous and traditional dishes are scattered in different parts of Bangladesh; The fame and reputation of which has spread in the country and abroad. Biryani

It is very difficult to find people who do not like Biryani or Polao. And when you hear the name of biryani, the first thing that comes to mind is Haji’s biryani of old Dhaka. But now Biryani is a popular food not only in Old Dhaka but all over Bangladesh.

Bakarkhani

Bakarkhani of Old Dhaka has a good reputation in Bangladesh as well as in the outside world. Bakarkhani means the tradition of old Dhaka. Folklore says that the name of this bread is Bakarkhani from the real name of Zamindar Aga Baki. Bakarkhani is available in both sweet and salty varieties. The basic ingredients for making Bakarkhani are flour/flour, oil, and salt.

Hilsa

Our national fish is Hilsa. Incomparable in taste and smell, this fish is called the king of fish. And Padma river Hilsa is world famous. How many people rush to eat fried Hilsa at Mawa Ferry Ghat. Kebab

Kebab is one of the foodies favorite food. These foods were introduced in Dhaka by the hands of the Mughals. Shik Kebab is the favorite kebab of old Dhaka people. Apart from this, there are Shik Kebabs, Banti Kebabs, Reshmi Kebabs, Tunda Kebabs, Tikka Kebabs, Tengri Kebabs, Beef Shredded Meat Kebabs and various types of fish kebabs.

Mejbani beef

Chittagong traditional event mejban. This famous Mejbani beef is truly unique in taste. It is very rare that one who has been to Chittagong, has not eaten a host.

Khichuri

Khichuri has a strong relationship with rain. Not only that, Khichuri has a link with the entire Bengali. Eating Bhuna Khichuri does not require any festival. You can eat this khichuri at any time. Fried vichuri with meat, fried eggplant or fried egg amrita.

Kalabhuna

But the origin of the dish called Kalavuna is in that Chitgaon. As the name suggests, the dish looks black but has a unique taste.

Prawn Fish Malaikari

Dry fish 

Dried fish is appreciated by everyone. Freshwater or marine fish fillets are equally popular.

Bogra curd

When talking about Bogra, the first thing that comes to mind is yogurt. Bogra town itself is famous for quality and unique taste of this curd.

Porabari’s cham-cham

Porabari of Tangail is incomparable in its delicious taste.

Rasmalai of Comilla

Rasmalai is a popular dessert not only in Bengal but also in South Asia. Everyone knows Rasmala, the mother treasure of Comilla, by one name.

Pearly Manda

Manda and Muktagacha complement each other. This sweet is available only in Muktagacha of Mymensingh.

Balish misty 

Netrakona balish misty were invented by Gayanath Ghosh more than a hundred years ago. This balish misty is popular with everyone.
