Programme/Enterprise Description:-

BRAC Learning and Leadership Development (BLLD) is responsible for augmenting the capacity and professionalism of BRAC staff and programme participants through a wide range of human development and management training. BLLD’s working group approach to developing demand-driven training courses for different BRAC programmes helps achieve programme goals more effectively.

Project/Unit Description:-

The onboarding Unit, as part of BLLD arranges an orientation programme for the new joiners. This orientation programme gives them a good understanding of BRAC’s enormous activities. Sessions on flagship programmes and strategies help our new joiners to align their mission with BRAC’s vision and mission.

Purpose of Internship:- (Including learning outcomes)

This internship is intended to give fresh graduates a practical, hands-on experience in a dynamic human resource role. The intern will support the onboarding team regarding arranging onboarding sessions, necessary communication and documentation. For graduates with an interest in human resource, this can be a unique learning opportunity.

Intern’s Responsibilities:-

  • Assisting in conducting onboarding session
  • Assisting in creating learning materials
  • Creating social media (Workplace) contents 
  • Documenting feedback for orientation sessions
  • Communicating with participants regarding sessions
  • Assisting in field visits for the orientation programme
  • Supporting onboarding team regarding logistics if needed

Requirements:-

  1. a) Educational Background:
  • Level: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Subject: Business/HR/Any relevant subject
  1. b) Language Proficiency:
  • Bangla

  1. c) Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good familiarity and experience with all google-based platforms (e.g. Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.) 
  • Event organising
  • Content development skills
  • Interest in the HR and Development sector
  1. d) Work/Volunteering Experience:

Experience of volunteering in national/international organisations or university clubs would be an advantage.
