Eligibility Criteria:

  • Have a 4 Years Bachelor’s Degree with an excellent academic result for applying for a Master’s Program
  • Required Minimum of 18 years of education for a Master’s and PhD program
  • Not Having a degree from the U.S. College/University or being admitted currently in any degree program in the U.S. or any foreign country.
  • Be Fluent in English with a Minimum iBT TOEFL score of 90 / IELTS 7.0. 
  • Be a Bangladeshi Citizen residing in Bangladesh at the time of the application procedure

Steps should follow while applying for Fulbright Scholarships:

1st Step (Create an Account & Answer Primary Questions):

  • Visit this Link & Create your account.
  • Activate your Account through Email by using a Temporary Pin 
  • Create a Unique Passcode according to the given instructions
  • Choose Your Country
  • Choose the Program Year
  • Choose ‘Yes or No’ about the U.S. permanent residency
  • Choose ‘Yes’, ‘No’, or ‘Unsure’ about all program eligibility requirements
  • Choose ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ about Data Privacy Terms
  • Choose ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to indicate Employment eligibility requirements 
  • Choose ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to indicate Whether you give up your right to review the information contained

2nd Step (Country Information & Personal Information):

  1. Review All information
  2. Note any Country- Specific Instructions
  3. Fill Up Your Name According to your Passport
  4. Fill Up Your Birth Date According to your Passport
  5. Fill Up the City & Country of Birth, Gender Identity and Marital Status According to your Passport
  6. Fill Up the Country of Citizenship & Residency 
  7. Fill Up the National Identification Number if applicable

Note: If you hold citizenship in multiple countries, just select the multiple countries option.

3rd Step (Contact Information):

  • Choose Your Country of Residence (Physical Address)
  • Choose ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to indicate  your current mailing address
  • Enter the Contact Number (indicating Country Code)
  • Provide an Alternative Email Address
  • Provide an Emergency Contact Number

Note: If you’ve emergency contact in the U.S. at the time of application, Just put it appropriately.

4th Step (Academic Background):

1. Upload Curriculum Vitae/Resume

  • Provide U.S. equivalent degree or diploma

  • Enter the final Cumulative Grade Point Average
  • Enter the Highest Possible Grade Point Average at your institution
  • Provide the Month & Date of the start & end of your Study
  • Provide the Month & Date of  receiving the degree

5th Step (Professional Experience, Awards & Recognitions, and Experience Abroad):

  • Enter Current Role or Previous Professional Work Experience
  • Enter Position Title ( Like, Assistant Director)
  • Enter the Name of the Recruiter
  • Enter the year & Month of start & end dates for the position (if you currently work, just leave the ends date)
  • Provide the current Location of your employment
  • Enter your Awards & Recognitions (Scholarships and/or Fellowships, Academic Honors and Prizes, Published Books, Articles, and/or Thesis, Teaching Experience, Memberships in Professional Organizations, Any Completed Research)
  • Enter Experience Abroad (if you have traveled, studied, or had a residency)

6th Step:

1. Upload Academic Materials (PDF, JPEC, and TIFF image files)

2. Upload Language Skills 

3. Upload Standardized Test Scores (TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, IELTS, MCAT and LSAT)

4. Upload Score Reports

5. Review the Carefully before selecting the ‘Yes or No’ option about Plagiarism Agreement 

6. Upload the Study Plan 

  • Study/Research Object (with a vivid & detailed description and provide reasons to pursue them)
  • Personal Statement (Should be a narrative statement)
  • Writing Sample (Required for PhD Candidates)
  • Letter of Invitation (Not Mandatary)
