World Health Organization (WHO) published data globally shows 39% of people who are 18 or over are overweight and 13% of people are obese. Other data published by WHO in 2020 shows 39 million Children who were under five gained obese and overweight.

The high force of the blood against arteries is called high blood pressure. When you gain overweight, high blood pressure will be a common disease. It will pressure your heart and damage your blood flow. As a result, the risk of heart stroke and attack will be higher.

When gaining overweight, the risk of high cholesterol and cardiovascular diseases can affect in a dangerous way. However, reducing extra weight helps to change heart diseases and cardiovascular diseases.
Diabetes
Overweight people have a high risk of developing type 2 diabetes. Type 2 diabetes leads to soaring high blood sugar levels. As a result, it affects the immune system of the body and does not produce enough insulin which is a hormone that controls the movement of sugar into cells.
However, you can easily cut the risk of type 2 diabetes by losing 5-10% of extra weight, maintaining a balanced diet, and doing aerobic exercises.

Breast cancer for women and Colorectal cancer for men are the most common obesity-associated cancer. Those cancers occur in 90% of newly obese men and women who are in the age of 50 years and above.
Sarcoma is also a cancer which is a totally uncommon cancer that arises in bones and connective soft tissues such as muscle, and fat. “One study showed in 2019 that globally, almost 3.9% of all cancers occurred due to excess levels of body weight.”
Gallbladder Disease
If you have extra weight, you are at risk of gallbladder disease. This disease reduces your weight rapidly.
Osteoarthritis
If you are overweight, your weight can pressure your knees. As a result, you will gain osteoarthritis or joint disease. By affecting this disease, the protective tissue of the knees will damage which causes pain.
However, you can regulate the risks of many diseases by changing your daily lifestyle. If you gain extra weight, take a weight loss programme. As a result, your risk of developing fatal diseases will be lower. Just take a goal of losing 5% of weight in a month, and you’ll see a magic change.
