Eligibility Criteria
Students who want to be evaluated for the University of Calgary International Entrance Scholarship must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
- Citizenship: Must be an international student paying tuition at an overseas rate.
- Must not be a Canadian Permanent Resident Permit.
- Level of Study: Enrolling in a UCalgary undergraduate degree program as a first-year student.
- English Language Proficiency: Must meet the university’s ELP requirement for the chosen program. Adequate English language tests are

- Renewability: Minimum GPA of 2.60 or above OR minimum 24.00 units of coursework.

Applicants who meet the above criteria can apply for the University of Calgary International Entrance Scholarship along with their admission application.
- Log on to the student account in the myUofC portal.
- Navigate to the “My Financials” webpage and click on “Apply for Undergraduate Awards”.
- Select the International Entrance Scholarship tap from the post-graduate Awards Application Centre.
- Submit the necessary supporting documents
- Fill in the required information and submit the application
Applicants must be international students who are registered full-time in a post-undergraduate degree program that commences in the Fall term. They have to be new students. To be evaluated for a scholarship, a student must normally present a minimum GPA of 3.20. English language mastery requirements as per the course.
