Is there any Bangladeshi who hasn’t heard the name of Ayman Sadiq? He is one of our own. You can call him a teacher, an entrepreneur, a motivator, a speaker, a celebrity and above all___ a self-made icon!
Ayman Sadiq, a prominent Bangladeshi educator and social entrepreneur, is an inspiration for millions. In this blog post, we will delve into the inspiring journey of Ayman Sadiq and explore the remarkable initiatives he has spearheaded.
Not too many people know that Ayman Sadiq actually got admission into the Army but later left it to study IBA. There he started participating in competitions and seminars, and his first break came as his team emerged as the champion of Brand Wits. The same team emerged as the global champions competing against 30 nations organized by Unilever in 2016.
After getting admitted into IBA, Ayman started looking for relevant educational tools to learn complex accounting problems but found nothing. At last, he found the solution in a Youtube channel where the videos were organized in playlists. The idea stuck with him.
Then he joined Mentor’s as a teacher and got an evaluation of 97% which was way more than the experienced teachers. With a vision to transform the way students learn, he along with Raied Abyad founded “10 Minute School” in 2012, an online platform that provides comprehensive educational resources and interactive lessons. What began as a humble YouTube channel quickly gained traction, amassing 2.7 million subscribers and revolutionizing the accessibility of quality education. His “Formula kintu 1 tai” is still popular among the kids.
Every human is bound to go through ups and downs. It was no different for Ayman Sadiq. 10 Minute School was on the verge of getting shut down during the COVID-19 pandemic. He had to borrow money from his father to pay the salaries of his employees. But luckily things went right and they made a strong comeback.
He has won many prestigious awards which include DYDF Youth Icon Award, Swiss Embassy Award, Future Leaders’ League, Digital Award, Queen’s Award etc. He was featured in the Forbes 30 under 30 Asia list in 2018.
A saying goes, “A leader leads, a great leader creates more leaders.” Under the leadership of Ayman Sadiq, Bangladesh has seen academic celebrities in the likes of Shamir Montazid, Ratul Khan, Sakib bin Rashid, Munzeereen Shahid and many more.
He has established himself as one of the best-selling national authors in the last few years. His books include Never Stop Learning, Loke Ki Bolbe, Student hacks, Bhallage Na, Communication hacks etc.
Today, Ayman Sadiq is not only an inspiration for others but also a brand. He is the founder of the first online education platform in Bangladesh. His achievements at such a young age prove what a gem he is. His hunger and continuous efforts in the field of education has catapulted him to be a national figure.
