T-bills and Bond
T-bills and bonds both are debt securities. Government issues these to the general people. Many financial institutions also come with different kinds of bonds and this is their way of money collecting. Bonds are cheaper and equally easier to maintain. Here a person can invest through different bank’s Treasury Departments.
Stock market
A stock market is a place where a person or institution trades shares of different companies. Here private companies shares can be exchanged before they are listed. Individuals can sell or buy these shares.
There are two stock exchanges in Bangladesh such as DSE( Dhaka Stock Exchange) and CSE( Chottagram Stock Exchange). These stock markets are regulated by BSE. Investors can buy shares of different companies that are listed on the stock market. Here a person can trade just by opening a BO account.
Mutual fund
Trading in the stock market may not be an easy task for everyone. Those who can’t trade in the stock market for them there is also a way to invest money. Mutual funds are a good opportunity for them to invest. Mutual fund is a process of money collection from investors by fund management businesses. After collecting money they invest in stock market, IPO shares, bonds etc.
Mutual funds can be opened ends and closed ends. Open end funds are not exchanged whereas closed ends are. Investing in mutual funds means investing on open end funds because closed end funds are traded in the stock market.

Another best way of money investment is Startup and SME. Here professionalism is a must for the investors. As a lot of risk is associated with startup and SME so an investor should be careful about his actions. Comparatively there are few chances of gaining success.
Real Estate
Some people find investing in real estate business is much more profitable and less risks are associated with this. Investing in Real estate means land, plots, flats etc. Here as an investor you must have a good personal network to buy or sell a land, plot etc. if a project seems expensive then there is a chance of group buying. Moreover you must remember real estate contains a lot of risks.

Savings certificate is also known as “Sanchayapatra” in Bangladesh. Here individuals can invest money without any risk. There are different types of savings certificates such as three months profit bearing savings certificate, five year Bangladesh savings certificate, family savings certificate etc. as savings certificates are supported by Bangladesh governments so for the investors it is the best choice of money investment.
