Agriculture is a promising profession nowadays. In the past, most of the people made a living through it. But nowadays, due to the touch of modernity, no one can think of agriculture as a profession anymore, many call it as a low-class profession. But agriculture is a noble profession. As children, we used to read in books that the main driving force of the country’s economy is agriculture. So, your question is how do you get started with farming?
In this case, it would be easier to answer if you knew the details of your location, opportunity, etc. In my case, I am a college student. I have already started an acre agricultural project. With the help of my father, I planted a lemon tree, along with bananas and papaya.
So I will tell you, if you want to come to agriculture, first you have to study agriculture well. That does not mean that one cannot do agriculture without getting a degree from Bangladesh Agricultural University. You need to have a minimum understanding of agriculture. If the agriculture of the Mandhata period is carried out in the present time, it will not be profitable. Now there is less space, more demand. Agriculture should be taken care of.
If you think you know at least a little about agriculture, you should look for opportunities now. Either if you have your own land, or you have to take a lease and cultivate that land.
Always think of exceptions. Where everyone grows rice, you might grow corn. Because corn is three times more profitable than rice. Again you can reduce the cost by using organic pesticides.
In the beginning, who will invest, calculate the cost and profit aspect accurately and see how much profit is made.
If you have a short term target, you can grow vegetables. The profit in vegetable cultivation is high, the fruits are available in a short period of time. And if you have a long-term plan, you must grow fruit. It will be your asset for the future.
In the beginning, drop all thoughts and use your intelligence. I Believe taking care of plants will give you gems. At least plants won’t be rude like the people around us.

When you hear the name of a fisheries subject, the first thing that comes to everyone’s mind is what will happen with fish…… I will do a big fishery…… but this idea is completely wrong.
It is possible to make your own life in 4 ways by falling into fisheries.
1. Govt jobs easily on quota basis without or with BCS.
2. Job opportunities in high quality fisheries plants in different parts of the country with attractive salaries.
3. It is very easy to become a scientist at home or abroad.

The benefits of studying fisheries in this riverine country are abundant. Bangladesh is the 4th largest fish producing country. And after 5 years maybe there will be no more river and bill fish in the country. Those who will meet 65 percent of the country’s protein needs are fisheries graduates. Another advantage of this subject is that one can get into other sectors by diversifying from this subject. And not only fish but also other aquatic animals can be very profitable in fisheries. Such as bear crocodile farms. There, a crocodile specialist can earn more than lakhs of rupees a month. There is no telling what privileges a technician enjoys in a well-developed shrimp farm. Due to the lack of educated and good technicians in the country, people are brought from outside for a salary of several lakhs which is sad for us.
Research will be started very soon in the vast ocean area of our country. Then only marine science and fisheries graduates can work there. And there is very little other easy way to go out after getting a scholarship. There is no problem with studying abroad at low cost on your own if desired. This advantage is very less in other subjects.
