Anti-nutritional factors are my assignment topic. Do you know about this? Same question I asked my classmates. Then my course teacher suggested I do a Google search, and since topic details are also not available on Google, I discovered ChatGPT and, at the same time, Google Bard. Those make it easier to understand the assignment topic. Now, the question is, which is better? And is this generation using the right software?

OpenAI created the sophisticated language model known as ChatGPT. It uses deep learning methodologies and is trained on a massive quantity of text data to produce responses to user queries that are human-like. To give consumers useful and pertinent information, ChatGPT was created for interactive and conversational purposes.

Google created Bard, a conversational generative AI chatbot, based originally on the LaMDA family of large language models and later on the PaLM LLM.

Chat gpt vs Google Bard creation

OpenAI, a research facility for artificial intelligence, developed ChatGPT. An organization called OpenAI is dedicated to the advancement and creation of AI technologies. Large neural networks were trained on substantial datasets throughout the creation of ChatGPT to provide the model with the ability to comprehend and produce human-like text responses. A group of scientists, engineers, and researchers from OpenAI worked together to develop and improve ChatGPT and other AI models.

A group of scientists and engineers from Google AI developed Bard. The head of Google AI, Blaise Agüera y Arcas, is in charge of the group. Ilya Sutskever, Oriol Vinyals, Quoc Le, and Margaret Mitchell are also on the squad.

Usage

For example, ChatGPT can write emails, articles, chat-based stories, or code snippets in addition to other types of text material. By giving explanations, responding to inquiries from students, or participating in interactive lessons, ChatGPT can be used in educational contexts to assist learning. ChatGPT can help users quickly discover the information they need by assisting in the retrieval of material from sizable databases or knowledge bases.

Bard is a huge language model, commonly referred to as a chatbot or conversational AI, and it was developed to be thorough and instructive. It is able to converse and produce text that resembles human speech in response to a variety of cues and questions since it has been trained on a vast amount of textual data. I could, for instance, write fiction or summarize factual subjects.

Limitation

Without keeping a permanent record of previous conversations, ChatGPT interprets text input according to the instant context it receives. As a result, if the context is not given explicitly or if there are contradictions or ambiguities in the dialogue, it may occasionally give contradictory or inaccurate responses.

The bard doesn’t always get it right. It occasionally makes mistakes, especially when asked to generate writing on subjects with which it is unfamiliar. Bard is prone to partiality. It is trained using a sizable text data collection that contains text from numerous sources. However, some of these sources might be skewed, and Bard’s comments might reflect this skewed information. The bard isn’t usually an artist. It occasionally produces text that is redundant or uninspired. Bard occasionally misinterprets the intent behind a question or prompt. This can result in inappropriate or erroneous responses.

Which one should be used?

I guess none Because they just analyze the past result according to data and give a required answer, the answer can be inappropriate, sensitive, or lacking in information.  But we, as humans, can analyze data and apply new logic. But does that mean we should not use it? We should use them as assistants; we can’t look upon them with blind eyes.
