Many people have experienced some kind of ghostly event in their lives! Ghost places are spread in almost all countries of the world. And everyone remembers ‘Club 99’ or ‘Cuban House’ as a haunted place. But there are several places in our country which are popularly known as ghost places. Places that many of us don’t know about. Some such places are mentioned below-

  1. Zamindar House of Jhalkathi:

There is a historical zamindar house at Krittipasha in Barisal’s Jhalkathi district. No one is aware of its exact duration. This century-old palace is bustling even during the day. There are many rumors about this Zamindar house. Especially with its “vegetable room”. Many claim to hear the sound of dancing from the palace at night. It is said that the zamindar of that time forcibly seized the girls and tortured them. They would have died as a result of additional torture.

In the village called Aliapur of Chuadanga, a group of dogs roams around the village every new moon from 12-3 am. Many have seen that group of dogs. Surprisingly, they appear only on every new moon night. A few young men spent the night together preparing to see them. 2 of them were seriously injured by dog ​​bites. After the incident, the youth confessed that the dogs were dark in color so they could not be seen clearly in the dark. They were walking in a line in a rhythm and each of them had a blue glow coming out of their eyes.

There are some sweet shops in Old Dhaka from where some humanoid people come and buy lots of sweets every few days at night. Whenever they enter a shop, they ask the shop owner to switch off the lights. Many shopkeepers know this matter so they do not object. In the dark they come, in the dark they go. These people are very tall in stature and their appearance has not been well seen till date. It is believed that they are ghosts. Most sweet shopkeepers in Old Dhaka know their stuff. But the shopkeepers who saw them also did not want to say anything about them or their appearance.

  1. Lalbagh Fort Tunnel:

There are many tunnels under the Lalbagh fort. Those of the zamindar period. If the zamindars saw danger, they would run away. There is such a tunnel, into which one enters and does not return. To uncover the reason, 2 dogs were experimentally chained and lowered into the tunnel. After the chain was returned, the two dogs did not return. Jinns are said to live inside this tunnel. They don’t want anyone here to enter there.

  1. Christian house:

There is an old Christian house in the Manipuripara area of ​​Tejgaon, Dhaka. Tenants of this house encounter strange or ghostly antics at various times. Late at night (around 1-2 am) someone is seen swinging on the swing in the backyard. The number of people who witnessed the incident is not small. Also, who makes noise on the roof of the house late at night. But immediately went to the roof and found no one else.   1. Baga Lake:

This lake is also known as Rupasi Baga Lake. Baga means dragon in Bom language. According to Bomad’s legend, a dragon used to live in this mountain long ago. He would catch small children and eat them. When the villagers killed the dragon, the mountain erupted with fire and a loud noise from its mouth.
