There is an ongoing joke in the corporate world, that you need 10 years of experience in your 20 something years of life. While the joke is obviously over exaggerated, this is undoubtedly a very weird requirement by many major corporations in not only our country but also the whole world. But the question is, “How to gain this experience?” The answer to this is quite simple, “Internship”.
We are all accustomed with the term “Internship” unless you are someone living under a rock. It is a type of part time job, where freshers can work under big corporations to learn and gain the most desired “experience”. Internship not only provides candidates with a certificate of experience, but it provides them with a platform to showcase their dedication, efficiency and skills. While competing for a job position, all the applicants tell that they are hardworking, sincere and worthy for the job. But how will they prove their words to the recruiters? Internships provide them with solid evidence that whatever they are promising to the company are true. This can set apart an applicant from several others competing with him alongside.
But the problem with internships in Bangladesh is that most corporations recruit candidates who have at least completed their Bachelors, that is when the students are not students anymore. But this is not the case with YSSE!! They provide internship opportunities to students as well.
