Basically the OTT business was not good until covid .But after covid formulation, since people remain sitting in houses , they consumed a lot of entertaining contents in these OTT platforms and thereby the business rose and in 2023, it exists in its top.

Locally in Bangladesh, OTT platforms like Chorki, Binge, Bioscope are popular and Hoichoi also has a market space to a great extent.The Western audiences like HBO Max, Sky TV and a number of OTT platforms indeed.

Users take a monthly or yearly subscription basis on those platforms to consume content and usually they are advertisement free.Moreover, some platforms create opportunities to watch content for free but they give conditions to watch free on account of watching advertisements. And if one wants to avoid advertisements and watch , they need to take the subscription.
Some OTT platforms also allow daily watch but they charge for that issue.

Usually OTT platforms only offer one, a single subscription ensures one screen but by buying higher packages they give audiences the opportunity to have a look in multiple screens and thus many people can use it at a low cost.

The competition of the OTT platforms are getting greater day by day as the number of OTT platforms are increasing day by day and audiences are getting divided due to the multiple origination of local OTT platforms.
So, the OTT platforms are doing work on bringing more and more premium quality content and also bringing as much content as possible according to the taste and choices of people.
